Press Release

Through various mediums, Ansarinia captures the demolition of buildings, analyzes these processes and will present their traces in her solo exhibition at KIOSK. In the form of patterns, collages, sculptures and a video piece, Ansarinia processes her everyday life in Tehran, and specifically the complex relationship between private and controlled public space in the city.

"The notions of fragmentation, construction and deconstruction form a connecting thread that runs through all the works. With this work, the artist indirectly represents the daily movements and manifold developments that define this city’s present."
