Nazgol Ansarinia

Nazgol Ansarinia has been nominated for the Queen Sonja Print Award, among thirty exceptional and exciting artists that have been recommended by curators, museum directors and fellow artists from many parts of the world.

The candidates and their work reflect the status of contemporary graphic art today, ranging from traditional use of printmaking methods to new approaches seen in installations, artist books, performances, clothes, and newspaper collages amongst others. Some may challenge conventional practices of printmaking, while others stay closely connected to its historical tradition. At the same time the select group show a wide range of conceptual and formal approaches and perspectives on printed art.
