Alessandro Balteo-Yazbeck is included in When Attitudes Became Form Become Attitudes, curated by Jens Hoffmann, which previously opened at the CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Art in September and will be traveling to the Museum of Contemporary Art in Detroit. This exhibition is a sequel to, and a reevaluation of, the legendary 1969 exhibition When Attitudes Become Form, which was curated by Harald Szeemann at Kunsthalle Bern in Switzerland. It brings together 82 international contemporary artists who follow, in various ways, the legacy of Szeemann’s iconic exhibition.

Artists include Jennifer Allora and Guillermo Calzadilla, Jonathas de Andrade, Kathryn Andrews, Nazgol Ansarinia, Alessandro Balteo-Yazbeck, Yto Barrada, Taysir Batniji, Nina Beier, Walead Beshty, Claire Fontaine, Abraham Cruzvillegas, Michael Elmgreen and Ingar Dragset, Cevdet Erek, Annika Eriksson, Lara Favaretto, Simon Fujiwara, Ryan Gander, Mario Garcia Torres, Emily Jacir, Maryam Jafri, Kris Martin, Simon Dybbroe Møller, Jonathan Monk, Shahryar Nashat, Roman Ondák, Tino Sehgal and Akram Zaatari.
